Hi there, and welcome to our little corner of the internet! We’re the Steck family: Jered, Kiersten, Ethan, and Ainsley; and we’ve just taken the biggest leap of our lives.

We packed everything we own into storage, put our house up for sale (yep, it's still on the market!), and downsized our entire lives into one backpack and one roller bag each. Why? Because we believe life is too short to stay in one place.

For the next year, we're living without a set destination, following our curiosity across the globe. One country, one culture, and one experience at a time. We’re trading routines for adventure, comfort for curiosity, and "someday" for right now.
